The breakfast was traditional and good, I would return there. The hotel was incredibly beautiful, with beautiful location in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was amiable - they made my stay a PERFECT experience. Location: the venue was just next door to a quiet area. I found there a wide array of restaurants to eat, like Earl's Rib Palace- Edmond that is only 5 minutes' walk away.
It was all fantastic!

The hotel had a great location, close to the beach and in a quiet area. The garden and surroundings were lovely and provided a peaceful atmosphere. the Wi-Fi was good, allowing me to stay connected during my stay.
There were a few negative aspects of my experience. there were no hot water or fridges available, which was quite inconvenient.

I chose to stay at Namal Stay because of its proximity to Kushtarajagala, a landmark I really wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's free wifi, which was fast and reliable. Being able to stay connected and easily share my experiences with friends and family was a great bonus.
Minor noise from neighbors and temples, but easily overcome with various transport options. Wifi availability in rooms may vary.

I had an amazing stay at this guest house. The family who owns it is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast they served every morning was delicious, with a variety of different fruits. The location of the hotel is perfect - it's high up in the jungle, in a quiet area, but still close enough to the beach. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff, especially Namal, were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. They even provided transportation to the beach and organized surf trips. this was the best place I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka.
For us, it was ideal.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They took us to special places and let us try delicious local foods. the guest house itself was comfortable and beautifully designed. the location on the hill provided stunning views and a cool breeze. We also appreciated the water filter, allowing us to refill our own bottles.
There were more tenants than we expected, which made it feel crowded at times. the guesthouse was a bit far from the main activities in the area.

namal stay was a wonderful experience! the room was spacious and clean, with english plug sockets and usb ports. namal and his wife sudu were incredibly helpful and friendly, arranging airport transfers, surf lessons, and even taking us on a tour of galle. the food was absolutely delicious, especially the tuna curry!
lighting in the room was a bit dim.
